Constitution proposed for Kujirashi-Walstadt

LINDSTROM CITY (CS) | With its recent acquisition of Kujirashi-Walstadt last month, Natopia is seeking to focus its development of the overseas territory on the creation of a controversial constitution.

The effort, led by Emperor Nathaniel, who is also the Prince of Kujirashi-Walstadt, seeks to consolidate all legislative and executive power within the territory in his office, with the legislature merely acting to provide advice. That desire has provoked a strong reaction from Sisera bat Erasmus, who asserted that the local residents “will not accept a Prince who holds unlimited … power, only to be advised by the people.” Erasmus demanded that “real boundaries” to the Prince’s power be enacted in any constitutional document.

Among other items proposed for inclusion in any future constitution are an order of succession, the creation of nobles who would head an executive council, and a bill of rights to protect against discrimination.
