Craitland starts on long road to recovery

CHERRY TREES (CS) | Having suffered a sudden failure of its Internet forums last month, the micronation of Craitland has begun a long road to recovery via new forums at the Bastion Union.

The discovery on September 18 that the micronation’s forums hosted by phpbbserver.com were no longer accessible was initially met by Craitman Pellegrino with the hope that the service would be quickly restored, as it had in such past failures.

Yet, nearly a month later and no indication of any plan to return to service from the company, Pellegrino announced today that Craitland would seek new forum space from the Bastion Union group of micronations. The move to the Bastion Union would also “hopefully create a stronger tie between the Bastion and the MCS [hub.mn],” said Pellegrino, referring to the key but sometimes divisive role played by the two primary congregation points for Micras micronations.

It remains unclear how much of the micronation’s history is actually recoverable, as nearly a decade of history was lost in the phpbbserver.com failure.
